Lesson Policy

  1. Payment for lessons is expected in full the first lesson of every month unless prior arrangments have been made with me personally. There will be $10 late fee for payments made after the second lesson of the month. Payments can be made in person or mailed to me directly.   2. It is always possible to reschedule your lesson with 24-hour notice of your regularly scheduled lesson time. No shows and students cancelling with out notice are not entitled to a make-up lesson and should not deduct money from any future payments. It should be understood that you are paying for a block of my time and are expected to attend regularly to get the most out of your lessons.
  3. If your lesson day should fall on a 5th week of the month, there will be no lessons on that day. Lessons will resume the following week as usual. I like this because it gives everybody a break and a chance to play justified hookey, ha!
  4. If for any reason I have to cancel I will provide a substitute teacher in my place or will automatically credit you for the lesson I have missed.
  5. Parents are encouraged to sit in on any and all lessons and my door is always open.
  6. Bribing the teacher to see past your failure to practice can be facilitated through careful use of Sweet Tea, Starburst, Sugar Free Red Bull, anything carmel, or converstaions about martial arts.
